dBTechnologies’ big deposit into Music Bank

dBTechnologies, in conjunction with ASAP Europe, install DVA line arrays into Music Bank to create a showcase facility that will benefit clients including Placebo and Snow Patrol, writes Paul Watson

This spring, dBTechnologies will make eight of its DVA T4 line array modules and two DVA S20 sub units available in all four Music Bank studios (located close to London’s Tower Bridge) to clients engaging in pre-tour rehearsals, video shoots or live broadcasts. ASAP Europe, dealer for dBTechnologies, will also have unlimited opportunity to showcase the pro audio range. Rich Soper, south England’s area sales manager for dBTechnologies (pictured here, right, with Music Bank’s Jimmy Mac, left, and ASAP Europe’s Robin Ashley), was blown away when he first heard the DVA system and was therefore instrumental in organising the three-way collaboration. He explains, “We are hoping that the installation will be complete in the next 2-3 weeks so that we and our dealer ASAP can get demonstrations underway. I know that Jimmy Mac is really chomping at the bit too as his clients will also be able to have full use of the DVA system.” The availability of a complete DVA line array system is something Mac believes his clients, who include Snow Patrol, Placebo, Robbie Williams and Cheryl Cole, will be extremely enthusiastic about. He says that Music Bank’s association with dBTechnologies and ASAP Europe is the perfect partnership of sound, environment and expertise.Michael Herweg, dBTechnologies sales & marketing director, claims that the last five years working directly with representatives in the UK has enabled the dBTechnologies brand to make its mark again with this latest collaboration. He says, “Music Bank is a well respected rehearsal venue, known for providing its clients a great service and high-end sound equipment; we’re proud to be working with them.”The build quality and performance-to-price ratio of dBTechnologies’ DVA range is something that Soper feels is unique to the marketplace; and with a demo facility like Music Bank at its disposal, the system can be heard and evaluated by everyone.
