All-action autumn for HHB and Source

Both HHB Communications and Source Distribution have been busy since IBC2012, with new appointments, product launches and distribution deals in both divisions.

The change of season has brought with it many changes for HHB Communications and Source Distribution, including new products, new appointments, and new distribution deals. HHB has been especially busy since IBC2012, where the company was named Master Distributor for DiGiCo’s UB MADI 2.0 USB device in the UK and Ireland. The news further extends their relationship as it follows the recent appointment of HHB as DiGiCo’s UK broadcast dealer. During the show HHB also unveiled new Mogami Mini Jack cables, available in a variety of lengths with XLR, ¼” jack and photo connections terminated with gold-plated Neutrik contacts. Several other HHB partners also made product debuts, including the Wohler MADIe, the Pro Tools HD Native Thunderbolt interface and new products from Nugen Audio, Minnetonka, Neyrinck, and Soundminer. Since IBC2012, HHB Communications has also been appointed to serve as the exclusive distributor for Yellowtec in the UK and Ireland. Microphone and monitor mounting systems, USB audio interfaces and voice processors are among the products to be found in the extensive Yellowtec range. “The Yellowtec product range offers a diverse selection of innovative solutions to fit the needs of any facility. The iXm Recording Microphone continues the concept that we found so successful with the HHB FlashMic, so it is only natural that we work closely with Yellowtec on this product. Other products, like those in the m!ka line, also have strong relevance to our entire customer base,” commented HHB managing director Ian Jones (pictured, right, with Yellowtec’s Hanno Mahr) Source Distribution has also kept busy, having recently celebrated a new distribution deal with API at British Grove Studios in London. During the event Source’s director of distributed brands Howard Jones took the opportunity to introduce new pro-audio product specialist Andy Bensley, who has joined the Source team to promote API products and Source’s other brands by offering a one-to-one demo service for both dealers and end users.
