All Access launches with major MLA buy

Reflecting a ‘pooling of resources’ initiative that seems to be increasingly popular across Europe, three of Italy’s leading audio, lighting and staging rental companies have joined forces to create All Access s.r.l., writes Dave Robinson

All Access is a consolidated group of three leading Italian rental companies which has demonstrated its intention to be a serious player by making a huge investment in Martin Audio’s acclaimed Multi-cellular Loudspeaker Array (MLA). The three companies involved are Fumasoli Service from Aosta (Valle D’Aosta), Electra Service s.n.c. from Mantova (Lombardia) and Amandla Production s.a.s. (from Lucca Toscana).

The founding partners decided to form All Access during the first demo of the MLA, organised by Audiosales s.r.l., the Martin Audio distributor in Italy, following their reaction to the system.Since the three companies have always used Martin Audio’s systems – from the old modular system, to the RS800, the F1, the W8, the W8L Longbow, the W8LC and the W8LM – the recommendation had been proposed by head of Audiosales, Stefano Rocchi, who could see the obvious synergies that could be exploited.As a consequence, the first order for 72 enclosures was placed, comprising two complete systems – totaling 44 MLA elements, four MLD downfills and 24 MLX subs. A scalable rig will make its debut on next month’s arena tour by top Italian rock band Subsonica.Stefano Rocchi explained, “This investment will enable All Access to be competitive on the national and international touring scene for at least the next ten years, offering the possibility to expose this prestigious system both to colleagues in the market and to the audiences that will attend the shows. It will also enable its customers to exploit all the revolutionary potential of this new system, which is based on a highly innovative technology.”MLA was launched by Martin Audio last May in Antwerp and has rapidly made a significant impact with PA companies around
