The team behind One Love Manchester took home two of the top prizes at the Pro Sound Awards this evening (September 28) as the best in the biz gathered to recognise the great work in the industry over the past year.
A crowd of top industry talent gathered at The Steel Yard in London to celebrate the award winners and nominees in a night sponsored by Miloco.
Sennheiser won Best Installation Project for its audio design at the V&A’s Pink Floyd: Their Mortal Remains exhibition, Miloco’s Livingston took home the Studio of the Year gong, and Meyer Sound co-founders John and Helen Meyer accepted their Grand Prix award via a video message sent from California. Church Studios’ Luke Pickering took home The future of audio: Meet the 2017 Pro Sound Awards’ Rising Star finalists
“>the much coveted Rising Star award, and Gareth Owen came out top among a talent bunch of nominees for Sound Engineer of the Year.
The ceremony concluded with the Lifetime Achievement presentation, which went to Funktion-One founder Tony Andrews. Acclaimed sound engineer and close friend of Andrews’, Roger Lindsey, sent in a message honouring his work over the past five decades.
