UK: Prism Sound is consolidating its operations in Stretham, Cambridgeshire, writes David Davies. The move to SADiE's former HQ, The Old School House, follows Prism Sound's acquisition of the SADiE brand in April. Beginning life as a Victorian village school, The Old School House has in recent years been transformed into a modern facility with a fully-equipped demo room that can be used to test both Prism Sound and SADiE products. It also houses offices and R&D facilities for both brands.
Prism Sound will be closing its Cowley Road offices during the next few months, with all staff relocating to the Stretham facility. The main contact number for both Prism Sound and SADiE is now +44 (0)1353 648888.
Following a busy period that has also seen Prism Sound sign a new license agreement with CEDAR Audio enabling sales of the CEDAR for SADiE suite to resume, the company has confirmed that it will use this year's IBC exhibition to showcase the latest enhancements to its dScope Series III audio analyzer. Prism Sound will also showcase a number of products from the SADiE range of DAWs, including the LRX2 multitrack recording workstation, recently used during production of BBC TV shows The Restaurant and The Apprentice.
Prism Sound can be found on stand 8.E27 at IBC 2008, which takes place at the Amsterdam RAI from September 12th to 16th.
