Sennheiser won the Best Temporary Installation Project of the Year award at the 2013 Pro Sound Awards for David Bowie is.

The exhibition (pictured), as in London, features over 300 personal objects, including handwritten lyrics, original costumes, fashion, photography, film, music videos, set designs and Bowie’s own instruments.

A separate section in the Martin-Gropius-Bau is dedicated to David Bowie's 1976–78 stay in Berlin, during which time he produced the famed ‘Berlin Trilogy’ of the albums Low, Heroes and Lodger. 60 new exhibits, some of which are on public display for the first time, “illustrate [Bowie’s] artistic development” and the “people and places [in the city] that were important to him at the time”.
