NETHERLANDS: Heerlen-based rental, sales and installation company Sound & Light Factory has taken delivery of 36 Crest Pro 200 series amplifiers. The units - supplied by Crest's Dutch distributor, TM Audio - will be used primarily for rental work, reports PSN-e.

"We were already familiar with Crest, having owned 7001s and 8001s in the past, which were - in my opinion - the best amplifiers available at the time," said Danny Juretzko, co-proprietor of Sound & Light Factory. "When the time can to renew our stock, we had no hesitation in going back to Crest."

More specifically, Sound & Light Factory - which is most active in congress PA, but also regularly works on exhibitions, festivals and other live sound events - has purchased 20 Pro9200s (the most powerful amplifier in the Pro Series range) and 16 Pro8200s.

"We loved our trusty 7001s and 8001, but the Pro 200 series amps are even better," commented Juretzko, pictured here with co-proprietor Danny Herveille (right). "They are extremely high quality amplifiers with an excellent price to performance ratio, and yet still incredibly lightweight for the amount of power they deliver_ The Pro 200s have already proved themselves to be everything we hoped for, so we're happy."

The new stock is destined primarily for rental purposes. "We do quite a few installations as well and we'd certainly use Pro 200s for that," noted Juretzko, "but our core business is definitely live sound, and that's where the Pro 200 Series amplifiers excel."
