A Lynx Pro Audio LX -V8 line array system was used for the final of the Eurocup Basketball.

The final was between Russia’s Unics Kazan and Spain's Valencia Basket, with the final played over two legs.

The first leg was played at the Fuente San Luis stadium in Valencia, in front of a crowd of 9,000.

Valencia Basket won both legs to become European champions.

Six LX-V8 arrays were flown under the centre marker, connected by ethernet and controlled by OCS control software.

Sonovideo carried out the installation of the 20 LX -V8 units. Guillermo Tébar, sound engineer for Sonovideo, explains: "This is possibly the best sound we've done in Fuente San Luis for this type of event and not only for the general sound of the system, but for real-time management as well as the incredible coverage achieved for such a small amount of cabinets.

“We were able to control levels independently per box, allowing us to adjust them to cover corresponding seating, optimally covering all areas of the Pavilion, with a crisp and uniform sound," adds Tébar.

The LX -V8 enclosure is a compact self-powered V-Configuration front loaded, two-way Line Array.

It uses two 8" neodymium transducers with nomex cones and two 1" high frequency neodymium magnet drivers with titanium diaphragm and individual wave guide.

It is DSP (FIR technology) controlled with 1500W amplification, 134db SPL and each box also includes a built-in inclinometer.
