RUSSIA: Integrated Systems Events has struck a deal with MidExpo International Exhibitions and Fairs to launch a sister event to its flagship exhibition, Integrated Systems Europe (ISE). Scheduled to take place in Moscow this November, Integrated Systems Russia (ISR) arrives during a period when this is growing excitement about the systems integration market in Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States, writes Sharon Lock.

ISR - which will be held in conjunction with MidExpo's Hi-Tech House and Building Exhibition, and will take place at the Gostiny Dvor from 8th-10th November - is intended to showcase the latest in AV and systems integration technologies from around the world. Like its forerunner, it will pair a busy trade show floor with a comprehensive programme of workshops, seminars and company presentations.

"Demand from many of our existing international exhibitors, as well as attendees from the CIS region, had driven us over a long period of time to explore this emerging market and potential partners," commented ISE managing director Mike Blackman (pictured). "Some of our existing customers already participate at Hi-Tech House and Building, and we feel that Integrated Systems Russia augments this event very well and provides a good opportunity to produce a much larger event and assist AV and systems integration solution providers with reaching this growing market."

Irina Nedumova, general director of MidExpo, echoed these sentiments about the natural fit between ISR and Hi-Tech House and Building: "ISE and its owners - CEDIA, InfoComm International and NSCA - [provide] a perfect match with its successful track record in this sector. We look forward to what will be another success in this series of events."
