NST Audio will launch its new VMO16 16-in 16-out audio installation processor at ISE 2020.
Designed using NST second-generation DSP designs, the UK-based pro audio product designer has applied its expertise in live sound filters and dynamics algorithms to this new rack-mount processor.
The VMO16 provides 16 discreet inputs and a full 16 x 16 matrix, which allows any Dante network inputs to be routed to any of the 16 analogue outputs. All outputs are equipped with 16 bands of parametric EQ, 48dB/octave high pass and low pass filters, and up to 1.3 seconds of delay. In addition, two-stage PXL limiters are incorporated to give high performance loudspeaker protection.
The VMO16 is housed in a 1U 19 inch lightweight rack mount chassis with an aluminium front panel, providing sectioned windows grouped into four banks of channel status indicators, and a master section containing Dante connectivity status and power indicator.
Phoenix-type three-pin 5.08mm pitch connectors are provided on the VMO16 rear panel for all analogue connections, while the four GPI connections allow configurable actions such as fire alarm mutes and preset recalls. Up to 30 presets can be stored with recall options allowing selective recall combinations of input, matrix and output sections.
You can see the new VMO16 on booth 5-V158 at ISE 2020.
