Finnish loudspeaker manufacturer Genelec launched the new 4010 compact loudspeaker in Amsterdam on Wednesday. The new unit features phoenix type connectors commonly used in the audiovisual industry.

Genelec’s new design incorporate environmentally friendly thinking with an enclosure made from recycled aluminum, energy efficiency with ISS and Class D amplifiers.

Lars-Olof Janflod, PR and marketing director at Genelec Oy says: “With its compact size, the new 4010 loudspeaker extends the potential use of the 4000 Series into installations where smaller enclosure size is either required or desired.

“The compact format 4010 is especially useful for discreet installation and seamless integration into interior design schemes – but there is no compromise on performance. This model delivers audio output to the same sonic standard as the 4040, the largest model in the Series,” adds Janflod.
