Audio-Technica has released details about products that will be making their European debut at ISE in Amsterdam this week.
Firstly, the BP894 micro head set (pictured) will be on show, featuring a rotating capsule housing with a talk-side indicator allowing the unit to be used on either ear with perfect polar pattern placement. The new headset follows Audio-Technica’s popular BP892 MicroSet.
The company writes: “The MicroSet BP894 takes headworn microphones to the next level, by allowing the cardioid capsule to be aimed directly at the sound source (ie the microphone faces the mouth, rather than facing forward like other options on the market).
“The uniform pickup pattern provides excellent rejection of outside noise, with exceptional gain-before-feedback when used with live sound systems and stage monitors.”
The company’s new System 10 wireless system will also be on display, featuring instant channel selection and easy operation in the 2.4GHz range.
“Up to eight channels may be used together with no frequency coordination problems or group selection issues, making the system ideal for budget-conscious situations where multiple set-ups are required,” states Audio-Technica.
