The arrival of Tim Fox as sales manager at north London-based cable specialist VDC Trading has been marked by several highlights, each of which consolidates the company's position as a market leader in just about every market available, writes Phil Ward. London's New Year's Eve celebrations, for example, were heralded by many as the best ever and featured extensive VDC cabling throughout the PA system supplied by rental mainstay Delta Sound. Meanwhile the new recording studio created by Funky Junk founder Mark Thompson, a fastidious collector of vintage equipment, is entirely cabled by VDC for both audio and video.
