Doug Green launches installed sound consultancy

Pro-audio industry veteran Doug Green has launched a new consultancy, DGC Worldwide (DGCW), to provide strategic business development and sales channel support – with a focus on the installed sound market – for manufacturers and distributors in the professional audio industry. “In launching DGCW, I can now leverage the wide array of experiences I have gained over the years in the fundamental business domains of the international pro-audio business for clients in every market. I intend to support my clients in growing and strengthening their sales organisations, penetrating new geographic and vertical markets, and succeeding with new products – affordably and efficiently,” said Green. With over 25 years of experience in pro audio sales, installation and business development, Green has held international executive sales management positions with TC Group, TOA US, DMX Music and most recently Harman Professional as sales director for EMEA. In an interview with PSNEurope last year, Green explained how installed sound first brought him to Europe: “I was managing the Western US for TOA, and was contacted by Lab.gruppen. The appeal was my background in installed sound – both as a contractor and as an end user – which enabled me to be a fulcrum between sales, marketing and engineering. That led to joining the product management group, and developing completely new ranges of enhanced amplifier platforms.” Green will operate DGCW from Sweden, where he lives, but is available to consult with clients in every major market. www.dgcw.biz
