UK: eMerging has announced a discount offer to mark the UK launch of v6.0 of the Pyramix DAW, writes PSN-e. In its capacity as Merging Technologies' UK sales and distribution operation, eMerging has revealed that until August 31st this year, Pyramix Native v6.0 - the software-only version of the DAW that requires no extra processing hardware - can be purchased from _499 (incl VAT).

The discount is more than 25% on the usual list price and the specification of V6.0 includes a maximum of 256 simultaneous channels of I/O, the new Masscore platform, and recording, mixing and playback at sample rates of up to 384kHz.

"This new version is designed to integrate seamlessly not only with our VCube video system and Ramses control surface but also with other manufacturers' DAWs, thanks to Pyramix's extensive file interchange capabilities," said eMerging co-founder Richard Bowen. "What better way to become acquainted with the power of Pyramix v6.0 - on the same computer as an existing DAW if that's your preference - than by taking advantage of our summer offer on the Native version?"
