Sound Technology Ltd, the Harman pro-audio distributor for the UK and Ireland, is holding a two-day BSS Soundweb London Certified Level 1 Training Course in Dublin on 24/25 July.

Alongside the official training there will also be a showcase of the latest installation products from Harman brands JBL, Crown, dbx, BSS, AKG and Soundcraft in conjunction with Irish sub-distributor Reynolds.

The event will be held at the Bewley's Hotel at Dublin Airport and is free to attend, although registration is required for both.

BSS Certified Training Level 1 is a two-day course designed to balance practical applications of the powerful Soundweb London platform with in-depth technical knowledge of its capabilities. “Attendees will leave understanding the core features of the system and be fully capable of system specification, design, programming and troubleshooting. At the end of the course attendees have the option of taking the Level 1, CTS accredited exam to become a BSS qualified Soundweb programmer,” says Sound Technology.

The showcase will feature the new JBL Pro CWT extremely wide angle coverage loudspeaker, CBT passive column arrays, JBL All-Weather and All-Weather Compact Series', new Crown DCi amplifiers, dbx ZonePro processors, Soundcraft Si Expression consoles, and the range of AKG microphones for wireless and conferencing requirements.
