Following the launch of the Liviau R, an all-in-one conference control system, at Integrated Systems Europe, Apex Audio has unveiled latest model in the series, the Liviau S. Based on the same hardware platform as the Liviau R, the Liviau S (main pic) offers the same audio functionality but with enhanced video and lighting capabilities for bars, clubs and retail, house of worship and corporate applications.

Revealed at Prolight + Sound in Frankfurt, the device offers a built-in audio mixer incorporating a powerful DSP processor with multiple EQ and limiting facilities and integrated two-channel 50W amplifier. Phones, portable media players and wireless headphones may connected via Bluetooth, with background music provided by the internal music player or internet radio. The base of the device is seen, right.

A fully integrated DMX controller offers "powerful and sophisticated" lighting control, while the Video Scheduler feature enables scheduling and playback of video and other formats from stored sources. It can be desk- or wall-mounted.
