GERMANY/UK: The new operation, ADAM Audio Inc UK, is located to the north of London, PSN-e can exclusively reveal. The Berlin-based studio monitor and high-end home speaker manufacturer's new subsidiary will be responsible for the distribution, marketing and public relations of all ADAM products in the UK.

Founded in 1999, ADAM Audio GmbH has gone on to establish itself as one of the top three worldwide manufacturers of professional monitors, with notable achievements including the development of proprietary ART (Accelerating Ribbon Technology).

The company's speakers have also garnered an impressive reputation in the domestic audio market.

"2008 has been another very successful year for ADAM, especially in the United Kingdom," Kevin Bent, director of ADAM Audio Inc (UK), tells PSN-e. "The unique sound of ADAM speakers continue to fill listeners with enthusiasm, both in professional studios and audiophiles' homes. To cope with the growing demand, this subsidiary is a reaction to the success in the English market and a clear sign to our customers that we would like to improve the service they are already accustomed to."
