Entries for next year’s MPG (Music Producers Guild) Awards close tomorrow at midnight (Wednesday August 30).
Taking place on March 1 2018 at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel, and presented by BBC Radio 6Music’s Shaun Keaveny, organisers have promised ‘the biggest and glitziest’ bash yet for the awards’ 10th anniversary event.
Recording professionals and studio owners who would like to be considered are encouraged to get online and submit their own names, rather than relying on other people to do it for them.
Likewise, if you are a manager of a producer, engineer or self-producing artist, tomorrow is your final chance to put your client’s name forward. Upload your nominations on the MPG website here.
“Winning an award shows that you have the respect of your peers because ultimately they are the people who have voted for you,” MPG MD Tony Platt said. “But before that can happen, you must submit your own name or the name of someone you think is worthy of consideration in a particular category.”
