NMK Electronics – the Midas Distributor of the Year and responsible for supplying Midas/Klark Teknik products in the UAE – has recently delivered a cluster of PRO series systems.

Based in Dubai, NMK Electronics has experienced a spike in sales following a year-long programme of training and support initiatives which culminated in the recent Midas Academy event, held during the inaugural IFMEA (InfoComm Middle East and Africa) trade show.

This year’s Midas Academy saw NMK present the new PRO2 and PRO2C systems, as well as the XL8 with enhanced I/O capacity, Midas digital snakes, Klark Teknik DN network bridges, and VeniceF consoles.

Recent system sales by NMK include a PRO6 – joining an XL8, Heritage 3000 and Klark Teknik equipment already on-site to the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre in the Dubai World Trade Centre. PRO6s have also been delivered to Qatar’s National Theatre in Doha, The Pavillion in Nicosia, and the Rahu Theatre in Abu Dhabi, while rental company Sound on Stage has upgraded its PRO6 to a PRO9.

NMK business development manager Chicco Hiranandani, pictured here with Dubai World Trade Centre audio staff, commented: “The Middle East is a unique market where there is real demand for the latest technology, but a limited number of professionals with the relevant experience. One of our core strengths is our team of knowledgeable technical sales people, plus the only Certified Midas Digital Systems Engineer in the Middle East, to ensure our clients get the best out of these phenomenal sound systems.”

Explaining its approach to the brand, Hiranandani added that NMK does “not see Midas products as merely an item with a margin on top. We admire what the name stands for in the market and we share that enthusiasm with our clients. With the new PRO2 and PRO2C systems, plus the investments made by Uli Behringer in Midas and Klark Teknik, NMK is fired up to take market share from the competition and most importantly introduce audio professionals to the legendary warm Midas sound.”
