Audinate, Lab.gruppen, MediaMatrix, Yamaha and AVNetworks are to host a special event about networking technologies in Amsterdam early next month.
The one-day session follows hot on the heels of the PSNE/IE-hosted AVNetworks event, held during PLASA 2010.
Reflecting the increasing prevalence of AV/IT convergence, the session will examine how digital media networking being used now and how it will be deployed in the future.

Attendance will be limited to AV consultants, integrators, designers, sound engineers or by special invitation.
Leading consultant Roland Hemming will make a special ‘Introduction to Voice Alarm Systems’ presentation, while other confirmed sessions include: ‘Media Networking: That was then, this is now’ with Chris Ware (Audinate); ‘Digital Media Networking with MediaMatrix’ with James Kennedy (Peavey); ‘Lab.gruppen & Lake products: Large and small scale systems’ with Miguel Hadelich (Lab.gruppen); ‘Networking Yamaha systems with Dante’ with Andy Cooper (Yamaha); and ‘Migration to an AVB system’, with Aidan Williams (pictured, from Audinate).
