Thomson Broadcast rebrands as Ampegon

Thomson Broadcast and its sister companies in Germany, Australia and Beijing have completed their rebranding process, taking on the new name of Ampegon.

Swiss radio transmission and antenna specialist Thomson Broadcast has completed the official documentation required to rebrand. Going forward the company, along with its sister companies in Germany, Australia and Beijing will be unified under the brand Ampegon. The company’s DVB-T/DVB-T2 Elite 100 GreenPower transmitters were recently purchased by B&B TV Communication, the entity responsible for wireless-cable broadcasting of radio and television channels in Azerbaijan. The transmitters will be used to bring high-definition digital broadcasting to the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan, a landlocked exclave of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The phone number for Ampegon’s headquarters in Turgi, Switzerland changes on 19 November to +41 58 710 44 00. The phone numbers for Ampegon Antenna Systems GmbH in Schifferstadt, Germany remain the same. Also on 19 November email addresses for both locations change to firstname.lastname@ampegon.com
