This year’s show will feature a host of new exhibitors, including Bel Digital Audio, LSB Technologies and Clear-Com. Many exhibitors have already revealed the products that they intend to showcase at BVE, among them: Prism Sound, with its recently-released SADiE 6 software, as well as the full range of SADiE hardware-based systems; Sonifex, with items including the Redbox 3G/HD/SD embedders and de-embedders; distributor HHB, showing products including Avid’s Pro Tools 9 Native, Dolby’s DP568 Reference Decoder, the Lynx MADI Card, Soundfield’s UPM1 Stereo-to-5.1 Upmixer, TC Electronic’s TM9 Loudness Radar and Wohler’s AMP2-E16V-3G Audio Monitoring Unit; Glensound Electronics, launching the Call Classic four-line phone-in system for smaller broadcasters; and SSL, with the C10 HD compact digital broadcast console and the Integration I/O range of primarily MADI-based I/O and routing products for system integrators.

BVE will also host a series of seminar events relevant to pro-audio professionals in The Audio Room area. The first day, 15 February, has been designated Radio Day, and will feature presentations about the appeal of radio to different age groups and the creation of compelling radio dramas and documentaries. Sessions during the ensuing two days will cover technical topics including compression, audio over IP, loudness measurement, digital media workflows and monitoring.
