VDC Trading Limited has appointed Stefano Pucello as international sales manager. In this new role Stefano will be responsible for the management and development of the international markets for the Van Damme range of professional grade AV cables. Pucello joins VDC with more than a decade of international sales experience in the wire and cable industry and has most recently lead the sales and marketing department for a well-established British brand within the UK broadcast sector. Chris D’Aguiar, VDC’s commercial director, said: “Stefano brings a wealth of experience to VDC, spanning a range of sectors where we have seen increasing demand for the Van Damme range and VDC’s associated technical and manufacturing services. All of this will be put to good use as we continue to serve a growing number of overseas clients and international distribution partners. In announcing the release, VDC notes that as an Italian, Pucello is naturally passionate about football, supporting AS Roma for many years. The company denies there is truth in the rumour that he has been appointed to bolster the VDC’s 5-a-side team, though it is now happy to extend a challenge to its London-based partners and customers. www.vdctrading.com
