Leading Belgium-based rental company Sound Inc has chosen a Midas PRO6 to lead its move into digital. The new purchase means that the outfit is the second Belgian rental house to invest in a Midas large format digital desk.

Sound Inc specialises in pro audio for the live arena and has long experience of Midas consoles, with XL200s, XL3s, Legend 3000s and H3s all featuring in its portfolio over the years.

“At first we were worried that by going digital we would lose out on sound quality,” said Sound Inc founder and MD Jan Durant (pictured, left, with Midas Consoles Benelux sales rep Olivier Deblaere). “However, the PRO6 delivers that wonderful warm Midas sound, just like its analogue counterparts. We’ve used the PRO6 for two bands so far, and they were blown away by it. With the console already booked for some 80 gigs in the coming year its fan club is only going to grow.”

“Sound Inc chose the Midas PRO6 to support their future growth plans,” added Axel Nagtegaal, MD of distributor Midas Consoles Benelux. “With Jan Durant spearheading the Midas digital march in Belgium, I am confident that more PRO Series deliveries shall follow soon.”
