Impact, the trade distribution company for sound, lighting and staging, has opened six new UK branches in Park Royal (north London), Belvedere (south London), Glasgow, Edinburgh, Preston and Poole. According to Impact, the new branches were opened “to cope with countrywide demand for the brands it represents,” namely Shure, QSC, Yamaha, Brooke, Martin, Crown, Soundcraft, Ohm, Cloud, JBL, Denon, Sennheiser, AKG, Audio-Technica, DBX, Formula Sound, Allen Heath, EV, Apart, and Lexicon Impact’s MD Grant Lester commented on the company's expansion: “Total focus on customer service is the key. Impact is a people business above all else and we really do look after our customers – and they reward our efforts by placing their business with us. When you add in low prices, huge stocks of the right brands, demo rooms, really experienced field sales and office based teams with a network of interconnected branches throughout the UK, you have a winning formula.”
