Shure teams up with Microsoft to supply audio solutions for its online workplace hub

Shure is pairing up with Microsoft to offer audio solutions for its cloud-based communications hub Microsoft Teams.

The manufacturer is currently undergoing the certification process to get a select portfolio of its networked systems products integrated into the Microsoft platform, an online meeting solution with features including audio conferences, conference calls, and live broadcasts. “We are excited to announce that several of our core products are in the process of becoming certified for Microsoft Teams,” said Chris Merrick, director of global systems marketing at Shure. “Joining the Microsoft Teams certification process is a clear indicator of our intention to provide best-in-class experience, compatibility and reliability in the unified communications market.”

Following certification, Shure’s microphones and digital signal processing products can be used with Microsoft Teams in a variety of room settings and applications. The system integrates with the company’s Office 365 subscription.
