US-brand Magic Leap has teamed up with Sennheiser to enhance the audio quality of the Magic Leap One headsets.

Sennheiser will launch its AMBEO technology within Magic Leap with the aim of improving the immersion of AR. AMBEO uses transparent audio, which allows users to experience an audio version of AR through the Magic Leap One.

Co-director at AMBEO, Veronique Larcher, said: "As we enter a new era of spatial computing, and the technology gains traction with leading content creators, we are thrilled to bring our AMBEO spatial audio expertise to help drive forward this emerging field, while working closely with the creative community.”

Chief product officer at Magic Leap, Omar Khan, said: "The spatial soundfield is an integral part of the spatial sensory experience. This is why we partnered with Sennheiser, a recognised innovator in audio solutions, to help explore and enhance our spatial audio accessory solutions."

The product is not yet confirmed. The AMBEO spatial audio may be added to the next Magic Leap One edition.
