Technicolor will make its Pro Sound Awards debut in September as photobooth sponsor, the global post-production and creative services provider has confirmed.
Technicolor's sound division, Technicolor Sound Services, offers sound design for feature films, television programmes, video games, DVDs and other digital media from state-of-the-art facilities in London, Toronto, Hollywood, Paris and Bangkok.
Recognising outstanding achievement in professional audio, PSNEurope's Pro Sound Awards return to the Ministry of Sound nightclub in London for the third time on Thursday 24 September.
Technicolor is shortlisted in the best broadcast facility category (for its facility in Lexington, Soho), as well as for best sound in post-production. For a full list of finalists, see PRO SOUND AWARDS 2015: The finalists.
Gareth Bull, Technicolor London's head of sound, says: "Technicolor Sound Services has had an amazing inaugural year and I'm delighted that the team have been recognised with a nomination for Best Post Sound facility at the 2015 Pro Sound Awards.
"Our ADR and sound mixing suites really do now boast the latest in audio technology and coupled with a strong team of talent, have gained many plaudits since our move into Soho.
"I'm also thrilled to see two of our recent projects shortlisted for the category of Best Sound: The Eichmann Show (BBC 2) and Poldark (BBC1)," says Bull.
Focusrite, which sponsored February’s PSNPresents event at the Ham Yard Hotel in Soho (see Rapturous reception for inaugural PSNPresents), and Martin Audio are also supporting the event, sponsoring the studio category and the drinks reception, respectively.
