Admissions are being accepted to the FOH and Monitor Mixing courses, which join SAE’s extensive roster of online courses.

Each course lasts four weeks and covers a variety of topics pertaining to sound in the live environment. Live Sound Engineering 101: Front of House Mixing examines the role of the Foh engineer with reference to PA tuning, gain structure, mixing, dynamics, EQ and more. Meanwhile, Live Sound Engineering 102: Monitor Mixing is said to be ideal for young sound engineers with a small amount of experience who want to learn the skills required for a position as a monitor mix engineer with a larger production company, or who wish to raise their skill level with regard to their current responsibilities.

Introduced in 2009, SAE Online has established itself as the world’s largest network of online tuition and has already seen enrolments increase by up to 500%.
