QSC’s Joe Pham appointed to InfoComm board

Pham was also recently named president of the Professional Audio Manufacturers' Alliance

QSC’s president and CEO, Joe Pham, has been appointed to the InfoComm International board of directors. Pham, who was also recently appointed president of the Professional Audio Manufacturers’ Alliance (PAMA), joins the panel of industry executives who guide the overall direction of the pro-AV trade association.

“I am honoured to have been appointed to both the InfoComm board [and] the presidency of PAMA,” says Pham (pictured), “and to have the opportunity to collaborate with such a dynamic group of industry professionals. With respect to InfoComm, I am looking forward to working with my fellow board members to better serve our member organisations and promote the industry as our respective mediums of audio, video and IT continue to rapidly converge.

“As the president of PAMA, it’s exciting to lead and work with executives of many of the most respected professional audio manufacturers in the world. By educating and advocating for our dealers and business partners while focussing on creating better experiences for our end users, we can continue our collaborative efforts to expand the audio industry as a whole.”

Pham joined QSC Audio Products in 2004, serving as the American manufacturer’s chief strategy and technology officer. He was promoted to chief operating officer in 2007 and president and CEO in 2010. Prior to joining QSC, Pham was with McKinsey & Company. He holds a PhD in electrical engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles, and is a former professor of electrical engineering at the university.
