As of January 1, 2020, QSC EMEA will become the exclusive distributor of its own live sound portfolio in Germany, the UK, and Ireland.
Freddy Sicko, director of QSC’s live sound in Central Europe, will lead the organisation in those countries. Sicko, who joined QSC EMEA at the beginning of 2019, brings decades of pro audio industry experience in various leadership positions to the company. Most recently, he was general manager of Shure MEA’s office in Dubai.
QSC EMEA has also appointed two new sales professionals, Carsten Schiedeck, sales manager retail, Germany, and Emma O’Sullivan, sales manager retail, the UK and Ireland, who will be responsible for MI retailers in those countries respectively.
Jens Stellmacher, director of business development, AV rental, will head up the key AV rental accounts in Germany and the UK and increase general brand awareness. Marius Creutznacher, manager, training and business development, will be responsible for developing and implementing target group-specific education and training programmes.
“We are really looking forward to getting active in Germany, the UK, and Ireland”, commented Sicko. “Our goal is to work as closely as possible with our partners in these countries to further increase QSC’s market penetration. We will do so by providing enhanced support of our channel partners while increasing our brand visibility at the point of sale and interacting and engaging directly with end customers.”
The QSC Central Europe live sound distribution team is primarily located at the QSC EMEA headquarters in Sinsheim, Germany.
