PSNPresents: Register now for star-studded free social event

Come for the free booze, stay for the big-name guests and/or RedNet raffle!

With just over a week to go until the very first PSNPresents, we thought we’d round up everyone and everything you can expect to see at our new networking event at the Ham Yard Hotel in Soho next Thursday.

Industry personality Phil Ward will kick things off with a look behind the scenes at Royal Opera House and National Theatre sound, where the requirements of media networking and discreet-to-the-point-of-invisible audio exercise his special guests Steve Zissler and Jonathan Suffolk every day – followed by a dip into what the BBC means by ‘craft’ with Scott Talbott and whether Strictly Come Dancing‘s Andy Tapley can do the cha-cha-cha…

The second half of the evening’s entertainment will see ‘fourth member of Portishead’ and Adele, Air and Florence + the Machine engineer Dave McDonald join Charles ‘Chicky’ Reeves, (Grace Jones, Prince), Massive Attack’s Robb Allan and Deaf Havana FOH Ben Hammond in a panel that will chomp and chew over the highs and lows of working in the live sound scene.

PSNPresents, inspired by The Pre-Roll section of last year’s Pro Sound Awards, is centred around a sequence of on-stage interviews and panels with leading lights from the pro-audio spectrum. Focusrite and Avid are the principal event sponsors (see Focusrite confirmed as PSNPresents sponsor and Avid lends support to FREE PSNPresents), and Focusrite will be giving every attendee the chance to win a RedNet 6 MADI bridge worth over £1500 (see WIN a Focusrite RedNet 6 worth £1600 at PSNPresents)! The event is free but you need to register to attend.

PSNPresents will take place at the Ham Yard Hotel, London, on Thursday 12 March from 6.45pm with a 7.30pm start. Register for your free ticket now!

A variety of sponsorship packages are still available for the event. Contact Ryan O’Donnell (, Darrell Carter ( or Rian Zoll-Khan ( for more information.
