If you weren’t able to make it to the successful inaugural PSNPresents at the Ham Yard Hotel, Soho, on Thursday (or just want to see if you can spot yourself; this writer’s shiny bonce can only be seen from afar in one of the audience shots, sadly), we’ve uploaded a selection of pics from the evening– the first in a series of new social/networking events – to our Facebook page.
Inspired by The Pre-Roll section of last year’s Pro Sound Awards, PSNPresents is centred around a sequence of on-stage interviews and panels with leading lights from the pro-audio spectrum. The well-attended first event, sponsored by Avid and Focusrite and featuring talent from the worlds of live, theatre and broadcast sound was praised by attendees (see Rapturous reception for inaugural PSNPresents for a slightly bleary-eyed write-up from the following morning), and another one is planned for November.
A film crew was on hand to capture both the first Q&A, with the Royal Opera House’s Steve Zissler, the National Theatre’s Jonathan Suffolk and the BBC’s Andy Tapley and Scott Talbott, and the live sound panel hosted by PSNEurope editor Dave Robinson – keep an eye out for videos soon!
