Mariana Lopez joins PSNEurope as new columnist for 2020

The audio engineer and senior lecturer in Sound Production and Post Production at the University of York will pen a monthly column for PSNEurope in the new year.

PSNEurope is delighted to announce that and senior lecturer in Sound Production and Post Production at the University of York, Mariana Lopez, has joined our stellar editorial team as a new monthly columnist for 2020.

A multi-talented audio engineer and vociferous campaigner for equality across the pro audio industry, Lopez will provide unique insights into the subjects of sound for TV and film, as well as regular commentary on the key issues affecting audio professionals. Her debut column will appear in the January 2020 edition of PSNEurope.

“I’m delighted to be contributing to PSNEurope,” Lopez said. “My areas of expertise are sound for film and television as well as accessibility and I hope to be discussing those in the coming months. My first article will give you a flavour of my interests and, of course, happy to take on requests for topics”.

PSNEurope editor Daniel Gumble added: “It’s a real honour to welcome Mariana to our editorial team. Her contributions will be an invaluable addition to our incisive, agenda-setting content across print and digital platforms. We can’t wait to start working with her.”
