The June 2015 issue of PSNEurope is now available to read online or download as a PDF.
The third issue of the new-look magazine comes hot on the heels of the British general election, won by incumbent prime minister David Cameron's Conservative party and broadcast in the UK by both the BBC and Sky. Find out how the two broadcasters' approaches differed on p30.
Two new studios, in Belgium and London, make for happy reading this month: Brussels' luxurious home-away-from-home Raygun Music Sound Radio is targeting music for film and TV commercials, while Play Deep, owned by DJ Spydabrown, is an industrial-chic three-room facility in – gasp – central London. Also still going strong is religion (who knew?): Follow Dee Jay Service to Naples on p38, where an Outline system provided sound reinforcement for Pope Francis's address to a crowd of 60,000, and p52 for a Electro-Voice HoW install with a difference.
Elsewhere, Dave Arch, Strictly sound man, tells Dave Robinson about his new album (with nary a hint of a pasodoble), Jon Chapple meets the new management of Scotland's largest sound company, The Warehouse Sound Services, and Simon Duff and Erica Basnicki put their tech hats on for our features on semiconductors and the new generation of 'clever' PAs, respectively.
