At PLASA Focus Glasgow 2017, there will be 80 brands exhibiting with products for live entertainment technology on display on the 18 and 19 January at the SECC.
EM Acoustics will be showing several products, including the ESP-8 compact self-powered loudspeaker, which is intended to fulfil a range of applications from speech reinforcement through to compact stage monitoring.
Meyer Sound’s LEOPARD system (pictured) will be on display, which is suited to everything from mid-sized touring and live theatre to worship and live performance installations, and from symphony to heavy metal music.
Aura Audio will exhibit the i5 (pictured) – a compact passive column loudspeaker. It consists of five (5) 3” cone drivers in a curved vertical array and 90x30 degree dispersion makes the loudspeaker easy to adjust according to installation.
The team from Current RMS will be there to showcase the centralised rental management system, built entirely in the cloud for the AV, sound, staging and lighting industry. The system enables management of stock, creation of customised layouts and coordination of crew and transport from any device and location. New features to be demonstrated at the show include new functionality highlighting product and service shortages, organisation discounts and simultaneous scan.
Area Four Industries will present the latest versions of the EXE Rise Chain hoist. Designed with a safety factor of 8:1 and with 1000kg standard and 500kg compact versions available, these hoists are seen to be a real future proof option and potential market leader in entertainment rigging.
