With under 72 hours to go until the fourth PSNPresents evening of quintessential Q&A and quaffing, Focusrite has confirmed it will be making a prize giveaway to round off the night.

Everyone who attends the PSNEurope-hosted networking event at the Sway Bar (61 Great Queen Street, LondonWC2B 5BZ) from 7pm on Wednesday 2 November will be eligible to enter the draw to win a Focusrite Scarlett 6i6 USB audio interface, worth around £140. (Well, everyone apart from the obvious exceptions, including the guests, the staff of PSNEurope and Focusrite, of course.)

"Our latest generation 6-in, 6-out USB audio interface is perfect for anybody who wants more than two analogue inputs: multi-instrumentalists, producers, recording artists, and small bands who want to record vocals, guitar and keyboards simultaneously," says Focusrite. "It gives you four analogue inputs with two Scarlett mic preamps, four analogue outputs and two separate headphone outputs, so you can give different headphone mixes to different artists, or an engineer and an artist."

The final line-up for the event, in just over two days' time, will see Munzie Thind, sound designer at Grand Central Recording Studios and the man behind the audio for the BBC Music's God Only Knows, joining a Q&A session with supervising sound editor James Mather and leading Foley/sound FX man Pete Burgis, both of whom have worked extensively on the Harry Potter film series (amongst many, many others: just check IMDb).

Meanwhile, Peter Gabriel arranger/collaborator John Metcalfe will be appearing alongside Grammy-winning Andrew Scheps (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Green day) and PSAwards hero Wes Maebe (Ellie Goulding, Carly Simon) for another evening of sensational studio tales and glimpses behind the curtain of the sound-to-picture universe.
