ITALY: The manufacturer experienced an 11.5% increase in unit sales during the first half of 2009 against the same period last year, writes David Davies. Powersoft’s latest ‘green-inspired advanced design’ power amplifiers and its new production facilities are among the factors said to have contributed to the impressive result.
An increasingly prominent name in global pro-audio, Powersoft’s newest products include the K2 and duecanali amplifiers, the Audio Suite software, and the D-Cell504 amplifier module.
Luca Giorgi (pictured), Powersoft’s audio division sales manager, Italy, tells PSN-e: “The result can be explained as a combination of different factors that contributed to the good result. Green-inspired advanced amplifiers can be easily split into a number of elements, including energy savings, [fewer] amplifiers for the same output power or performance, and less volume/space for a system.
“The main product involved in the growth is the K-series with its superior technology/performance, and this is giving us the confidence for continuing this growth with the imminent start of shipments of duecanali, the new installation series based on the K-series engine.”
