CODA Audio distributor Soundside of Norrtälje has confirmed the first Swedish sale of its high-output, full range line array, AiRAY, to its customer PNP Sound and Light of Österbybruk.

AiRAY delivers sound from a compact and lightweight enclosure, weighing less than 40g and at around half the size of a standard box. According to CODA Audio, AiRAY 'easily matches and often surpasses the power and quality of its competitors and is recognised globally'.

PNP already stocks CODA Audio’s CoRAY, TiRAY and HOPS8 systems but owner Peter Nyström has decided to expand PNP’s inventory to include the AiRAY system:

“After using CODA Audio for more than four years and really appreciating its hi-fi qualities, the addition of AiRAY was a natural progression that will meet the needs of our expansion. As our customer base widens, demands to supply larger scale events become greater and AiRAY gives us the capability to cover every requirement.

"Our hope that the system was in the same class as our other CODA Audio inventory was confirmed the very first time we heard AiRAY, when Soundside’s Ronny ‘Rompa’ Bernström took us through the system’s features. As a slightly smaller player in the market, for us, it’s not just the sound quality that’s important. The compact, lightweight, easy-to-use format requires less space and fewer staff compared to other systems, which makes logistics easier and keeps costs down. Another key factor is the service and expertise of the supplier - Rompa at Soundside is always on hand to lend support for any issues that arise.”
