UK: QMS Music has responsibilities for pro-audio and MI manufacturers in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The current portfolio features a number of US guitar amplifier manufacturers, including Jet City Amplification, ZT Amplifiers, Soldano Custom Amplification and Piranha Cables.

Heading up the new venture is Bob Harrison, whose CV includes spells at beyerdynamic, EAW and Peavey.

"It is becoming increasingly important to have good sales representation in today's challenging economic climate, and using an agency format like QMS is an extremely attractive proposition for many companies who are not in a position to finance a full-time sales operation in certain territories," commented Harrison. "EMEA represents an important market, yet is still relatively untapped in certain areas, and this is where companies like QMS can help. We can offer efficient representation that takes advantage of a network of contacts established over many years, and the bonus of using an agency approach is that there is no capital outlay, so it's a very easy and risk-free way to gain a foothold into the market."

Harrison tells PSN-e that he has "gained experience with products for the tour sound, pro install and commercial audio markets - from microphones, mixers, amplifiers to loudspeakers! QMS is now actively looking to represent additional manufacturers from these markets areas."
