Harman has announced that it will base its new pro audio support and training centre in Potters Bar, near London, in the same Soundcraft/Studer facility as its EMEA sales and support team (pictured).

The new facility will provide services for Harman's mixers, mics and professional headphones brands, centralising Harman's pro customer service operations for Europe and adding "considerably" to the workforce in Potters Bar.

This decision follows the success HARMAN’s had in providing customers with a end-to-end systems and the customers are also looking for a single point of accountability and support for the system.

Andy Trott, VP/GM of Soundcraft and Studer, comments: “Harman will have one of the largest pro audio support centres in Europe to offer customised service and unique training programmes for our global customers.

"Increasingly, our customers are investing in integrated audio solutions. By bringing together our brand services and training under one roof, we are now better positioned to help them maximise their systems and gain the full advantage of the breadth and depth of Harman's professional division."

Other Harman brands include AKG, Harman Kardon, Infinity, JBL, Lexicon and Mark Levinson.
