A change in circumstances means that the Music Producers Guild (UK) Awards 2011 will now take place at the Café de Paris, London, rather than the previously-specified venue.

Whilst the venue for the Awards has changed, the date of the event has not – it remains fixed for 9 February.

The announcement sees a return to the atmospheric Café de Paris, which has hosted the MPG Awards for the past two years, during which the event has become an increasingly high-profile element of the music industry calendar.

Once again, the winner of the Music Producers Guild’s Producer of the Year Award will also receive a BRIT Award for Best Producer, and both awards will be presented on 9 February.

For the full MPG Awards 2011 shortlist, please consult PSN-e’s previous coverage here: www.prosoundnewseurope.com/main-content/full/mpg-uk-reveals-album-award-shortlist.

Tickets for the event are now on sale and to avoid disappointment people are advised to book early. To reserve a ticket, please telephone Sadie Groom at Bubble & Squeak. +44 (0) 01442 877 850.
