German manufacturer Lawo has expanded its US team and opened a new logistics hub in Elmsford, New York.

Lawo’s new hub will serve as warehouse, test facility, training centre and East Coast sales and support office.

This new facility complements Lawo’s existing US headquarters in New York City, West Coast sales and support office in Los Angeles, and Canadian headquarters in Toronto.

To oversee operations at the new hub, Ricardo Martinez has taken on the position of North American logistics and support coordinator. Hans Juergens also joins as broadcast engineer for pre- and post-sales technical support.

“Lawo has always been committed to providing excellent products with outstanding support,” said Sam Schauland, technical director, Americas. “TV and radio broadcasters in the US and Canada recognise this, and demand for Lawo IP-based video infrastructure products, radio and audio production consoles, and remote production solutions continues to grow steadily. Our expanded logistics capacity and continual addition of support engineers will help us to serve our clients even better.”
