beyerdynamic will be exhibiting new products at ISE 2020 under the theme ‘Growing Together’, in particular, its new UNITE digital wireless communication system in an extended version.
According to beyerdynamic, “UNITE stands for community, communication with each other and the sustainable use of resources”.
UNITE is designed to improve communication, particularly with improved speech intelligibility and ease of use. It is ideal for a variety of applications that require a single communication system, such as a guided tour, for interpreter applications, or for assistive listening.
UNITE provides protection against hacking attempts, operational reliability and high transmission ranges. Its AES-256-bit encryption and individual group keys offer further security to meet the European data protection regulations.
The system comes with UNITE Manager software which makes configuration, monitoring and system updates easier, as does the option of frequency management for up to 32 groups simultaneously. The system’s integrated return channels enable new possibilities, such as queries during guided tours or use at long distances.
The new full-duplex mode allows the UNITE access point to be used as a four-channel receiver with an individual return channel for wireless microphone scenarios. The integrated DSPs in the transmitters compensate voices of varying volume or speaking distances and background noise can be suppressed. The product’s talkback function has become more flexible with its latest update and the introduction of the request-to-talk function allows the guide to control the conversation directly by assigning or deleting all microphones. The new Sidetone Function allows active monitoring, with which the user’s own voice can be played back through the headphones.
beyerdynamic will be exhibiting at booth M120 in hall one at ISE 2020.
