The development follows the recent acquisition of Clear-Com by HME, and sees HME’s existing Pro Audio Division become part of Clear-Com.
The merger of HME’s existing channel partners into Clear-Com’s global distribution network is said to make it the largest distributor of professional intercom, as well as the provider with the most extensive wired and wireless intercoms on the market.
HME products joining the Clear-Com roster include the flagship 2.4GHz DX-Series digital systems and UHF PRO850 system. The transfer also encompasses HME Pro Audio personnel, including John Kowalso as director of US broadcast & network sales; Jennifer Cassidy as sales manager – military aerospace, government; and Rick Molina as applications engineer. Mike Hughes has also joined Clear-Com as the vice-president of new business development.
Matt Danilowicz (pictured), president and MD of Clear-Com, tells PSN-e: “HME is known for its wireless expertise, manufacturing excellence and customer service, while Clear-Com is known for its award-winning party-line beltpack, its broad set of innovative matrix and IP intercom solutions, as well as its own robust line of wireless solutions. The merger of the HME Pro Audio Division with Clear-Com will give our customers the fullest range of choices for wired and wireless comms. This is not only a joining of products but also an expansion of channel partners, most of whom will carry both HME and Clear-Com products, leveraging their experience and expertise to extend our reach into new and growing markets as well as delighting our current customers.”
