Samsung-owned AV designer Harman has teamed up with Google to provide music lovers with a free three-month trial of Google Play Music.
Launching across 47 countries, the initiative will be available to eligible Harman customers later this month and promoted in select Harman-owned JBL and Harman Kardon consumer products in time for the 2017 holiday season.
The offer – only available to new Google Play customers – includes ad-free access to more than 40 million songs for three months.
Google Play Music suggests music based on the time of day, previous preferences, and the user's locations and activities. Users can also save up to 50,000 tracks from their personal collection to Google Play Music’s locker.
Google Play Music also comes with access to YouTube Red, for ad-free YouTube, offline and background viewing on mobile, and access to YouTube Originals (NB: this offer only apples in the US, Australia, New Zealand, and Mexico).
Harman was bought by Samsung Electronics Co. in March this year. It owns brands including JBL, Harman Kardon, AKG, Revel and Infinity, with a large stake in the automotive AV market - more than 50 million automobiles on the road today are equipped with Harman audio and connected car systems
