A new online tool allows prospective users to determine which Audix vocal microphone is right for them, reports PSN-e. The new service acknowledges the fact that, as the company puts it, “finding and choosing the right vocal mic can be a very complicated and challenging task, and if you don’t get the proper mic for your singing style and application, it will leave you frustrated with your sound and your performance.”

Based around four questions about performance level, vocal style/technique and stage volume, the Audix Mic Finder is now online (link below).

Audix co-founder Cliff Castle tells PSN-e: "You would think that buying a vocal microphone would be a fairly simple task, but to really get it right, there are a lot of factors involved. Audix makes a wide variety of application specific vocal mics to help people get the very best mic for their needs. And now, with the help of modern online technology, we came up with a great tool for simplifying the process – the Audix Microphone Finder. This is a tool created specifically for online use – you can only get it from the Audix website."
