Educational environment focus of new Veale Associates division

Veale Associates technical consultant Justin Randell will head a new division within the company devoted to acoustics within the educational environment. Alongside his VA commitments, Randell is also a senior lecturer on the Music and Sonic Media BA course at London South Bank University where he is responsible for teaching audio production techniques, as well as developing course content. At VA, Randell has been immersed in work on sound studio design projects, looking at design specifications, providing effective hardware and software integration, as well as project management. His areas of specialism include audio production software (DAW), digital and analogue audio integration, and software programming. VA has already undertaken a number of educational sound projects in recent months including the design and build of sound and recording studios for both Falmouth and Middlesex Universities. “Flagship facilities have become increasingly important in the education sector not only to attract prospective students but also in establishing connections within the industry,” commented Randell. “VA understands the requirement for a versatile and durable space, in line with industry expectation.
