Audiologic has appointed Anna Shahin to the post of application support engineer.

Shahin's responsibility as a key member of the technical team will be to support and advise Audiologic’s customers across company projects.

Shahin's previous working experience includes working as a recording studio technician, as well as working on live events as a technical crew member.

She obtained a first class Bsc honours degree in Audio Recording and Production from Hertfordshire University, as well as finishing her studies in Speech and Hearing Science at Buffalo University in New York.

Andy Lewis, Audiologic's sales and marketing director, said: “The AV industry is a fast-evolving environment where it’s essential that sales and distribution is supported by technical practitioners whose appreciation of complex technologies is acute and easily translated in the field. Anna fits the bill to perfection. Her academic expertise is solidly grounded in real-life experience of the AV sector and we know that she has a terrific amount to offer Audiologic and our customers. She brings with her an unbeatable combination of knowledge and passion for the job and I’m confident she will add significant value to the team.”

Shahin commented on her new role: “The team here at Audiologic is close-knit and they’ve welcomed me with open arms. I feel very supported, not only by the technical team but also by everyone in the office. In spite of being so new to the company, I feel that my technical experience in live and studio production, combined with the specific training support I’m receiving on our great brands, has already enabled me to utilise my skills to good effect. Playing an active part in supporting our clients promises to be a varied and challenging role that I’m sure I will enjoy and which will significantly enhance my own technical development.”
